Via Movie Score(s) A Day
John Williams
“The Last Battle”
Star Wars: A New Hope (1977)This will be the most epic piece of film music you’ll hear this week, possibly this month, perhaps this year. Hint: the Death Star is completely destroyed at the end of it.
John Williams delivered this game-changer of a score to George Lucas for his 1977 masterpiece. To date, Star Wars is one of the best-selling - if not the best-selling motion picture score ever.
